Is it possible for a Mediterranean island, so noisy, cheerful and full of life during summer, to put on a threatening, almost dangerous face? If so, is it possible to escape it?
 
Such an attempt is the main theme of this film, conceived as an eerie, surreal, and atmospheric drama. It could, perhaps, evoke a reflection of our own daydreams of escaping somewhere else, far beyond the horizon, past everything familiar.
